I started collecting Ty Beanie Babies spring of 1996. My daughter who was 11 at the time thought they were cute. We decided that she would collect the cats and I would collect the dogs. We are now into our fourth year of collecting. Just can't give 'em up! Watch out~ you may be next!

The Four Seasons NY Issy has a 6th generation heart tag that says 2000 on the front. The new release Issys have an 8th generation heart tag that says BEANIE BABY with a holographic star in the middle.

Inside the heart tag of the Four Seasons NY Issy says "All profits of Ty from the sale of this Issy will go to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan to aid in pediatric cancer research" Inside the heart tags of the new Issys say: "All profits of Ty from this collectable will be donated to The Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research" The name of the hotel and location also appears on the inside left of the heart tag on the general release Issy bears while this information appears on the back of the heart tag for Four Seasons New York Issy bears originally available only by staying at the hotel.
